The United States has taken serious action against 41 Nigerians who committed various offences.
It was reported that 41 Nigerians were deported from the US to Nigeria on Wednesday, June 22.
The Nation reports that immigration sources said all the deportees were male and had committed various offences that necessitated their return to Nigeria.
They were flown in aboard a chartered aircraft operated by Miami Air International and they arrived at the Lagos international airport at 12.20pm.
26 of those deported were for police offences, six had immigration related problems while nine had committed drug-related offences.
This is coming on the heels of the decision of the US to revoke the visas of three members of the House of Representative for soliciting for sex and related offences.
The accused members are Samuel Ikon (PDP, Akwa Ibom), Mohammed Gololo (APC, Bauchi) and Mark Gbillah (APC, Benue).

They were accused of sexual misconduct during their visit to the US for a leadership programme.
Their action which has brought negative reactions from Nigeria has been predicted to cause serious reactions against Nigerians in the US.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has ordered an investigation into the three House members accused of soliciting for sex.
This was contained in a statement release by the Abdulrazak Namdas the chairman of the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs.
Namdas said: “We are in receipt of a letter from the US ambassador alleging misconduct by some members of the National Assembly who attended a training program in the United States of America.
“The leadership of the House has commenced its own part of the investigation. When it is concluded, we will brief Nigerians further on this issue.”
