President Buhari meets Tinubu in London

President Muhammadu Buhari hosts he national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona Ogbagba in London 

President Muhammadu Buhari handed over power to Vice president Yemi Osinbajo after he proceeded on 10 days’ vacation to London for medical reasons on Sunday, June 6.

He will resume work on Monday, June 20, upon his arrival on Sunday, June 19 President Muhammadu Buhari looks to be in stable condition in London amid worries of his health. This follows photos posted on the president’s official Twitter handle (@NGRPresident) which shows Buhari smiling profusely as he met with the the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in London. 


Details of their meeting is still unknown as at the time of filing this report, but they both looked happy and relaxed. Buhari who was last seen on Monday, June 13, hosting Justin Welby, the archbishop of Canterbury in London, shook hands with Tinubu as he played host to the former governor of Lagos state.



The president also hosted the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona Ogbagba. See photos below:

President Muhammadu Buhari handed over power to Vice president Yemi Osinbajo after he proceeded on 10 days’ vacation to London for medical reasons on Sunday, June 6. 

He was expected back into the country today, June 16, but according to Osinbajo, Buhari will be back on Sunday, June 19, so that he can take the weekend off. President Buhari will resume work on Monday, June 20, upon his arrival.
