Ex-Illuminati Member Confirms They FRAMED Bill Cosby With Fake Rape Allegations To Stop Him From Buying NBC

Ex-Illuminati member says Bill Cosby is under massive attack by the feared Illuminati. The vilest conceivable claims are being made against him. Who would want to operate under such a burden, especially a person in the public eye? The accusers are women who have worked with the Illuminati in the past and were paid to wildly state they are all victims of rape.
The spewers of this hate are all fabricators. Moreover, without exception they are suppose “victims” of Bill Cosby. Moreover, what extreme hate they are spewing, all under the guise of righteous indignation, all under the protection of the Illuminati who already control a large portion of the global media from the music industry to television.
It should be noted that Whoopi Goldberg has defended Mr. Cosby, asking for hard evidence of the claims. Few if any others have done so, upholding the false witnesses or at least showing sympathy, tolerating their claims. All these so called “victims are paid large amounts of money to make this wild and outrageous claims about Bill Cosby” say Ex-Illuminati member. Bu why? And why make this allegations now? Ex-Illuminati member tells says Bill Cosby, NBC’s biggest star of the 80’s, was trying to buy the television network from its current owner, the General Electric Company.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK

A man grew up not knowing the love of a parent, it went on till he got to higher institution where he met a beautiful lady who showed him what true love was all about. She sponsored him through school, he thought of a way to pay her back, so he made a promise to marry her and in turn drop his family name and pick her family name. I know in this kind of scenario the women will be happy that they are continuing their father's name.

The question now is was that a good decision or way of pay back or not? Let me get your thoughts.  `

'That is why we let Dzeko and Jovetic go' - Pellegrini hails Iheanacho hat-trick

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says Kelechi Iheanacho's hat-trick against Aston Villa proves the club were right to allow established stars Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic to leave.
The 19-year-old striker took full advantage of Sergio Aguero being rested to score three times in the FA Cup fourth-round tie at Villa Park on Saturday, with Raheem Sterling netting the other in an easy 4-0 win.
Dzeko and Jovetic joined Serie A sides Roma and Inter respectively at the start of the season and Pellegrini believes Iheanacho is showing that allowing the more experienced pair to go was the right decision.
"Kelechi is a very good young player," the Chilean told BBC Sport.
"We let Jovetic and Dzeko go because I see Kelechi every day and know what he can do. I am very happy.

Leanne Hock, pictured, from Chaddesden, Derbyshire, was diagnosed with the incredibly rare maxillary sinus carcinoma after suffering from a blocked nose for three years. The mother-of-two had a tumour the size of an orange behind her cheekbone and surgeons removed much of her face in a 15-hour operation to save her life, using a bone from her leg to reconstruct her face. But the cancer has now returned, causing her face to collapse, while her two children have helped launch a campaign to fundraise £40,000 so their mother can undergo a new treatment in Mexico.

DSTV! DSTV!! DSTV!!!, How many times did I call u?

DSTV is a household name when it comes to TV entertainment, but there is a problem of which if not treated or looked into may overtake our economy, why do I say so one may ask?

We have seen OUTRAGEOUS increment upon increment on the bills we pay to DSTV. We were trying to get used to the bills when lo and behold, we the football fans no longer found it funny when we realized that the SS3 an 5 are now on full bouquet. PVR subscribers pay 16k plus, for what I don't know.

The most annoying part is that movies are been repeated and are not aired or premiered on time.

Why can't we do "pay as u go" in Nigeria when in South Africa that's the way it is. I don't mind paying more for their services, but I think the "pay as u go" is more realistic . What the government is doing to MTN, the beam light should be pointed also to DSTV.

Unfortunately, as we fight for our rights, some people are against it just because they can afford it. An incidence occurred last week when a subscriber came and said she can never stop subscribing for DSTV especially because of the BOX movies, I laughed; all I saw there was selfishness and greed.

I need to hear the views of the public concerning this because the government has to do something about it. Thank God for change. Let's fight for one cause and not to be selfish, because we can afford it; have we thought about our neighbours? DSTV has to hearken to our demands. This is our country and we have a right to what we want.

FA Cup fourth round: 10 things to look out for this weekend

1) Adebayor can light up battle of the dark horses

Crystal Palace against Stoke City could be the tie of the round: two dark horses with a genuine chance of going all the way to Wembley and numerous captivating storylines. The return of Emmanuel Adebayor will be watched with interest. How fit is he? Can he solve Crystal Palace’s goalscoring problems? Can Alan Pardew get the best out of a player who cannot be tamed? How Stoke respond to that penalty shootout defeat at Anfield in midweek will be fascinating too. Both teams have shown they are capable of beating the best this season, yet a challenge in the Premier League remains beyond their reach. It should make Cup competitions all the more important and seeing a mid-ranking Premier League side climbing the Wembley steps in May would be healthy for a competition losing a little bit more lustre every season. Alan Smith

2) Elneny has chance to make first-XI case

After watching from the bench as an unused substitute during Arsenal’s draw at Stoke and their defeat to Chelsea, Mohamed Elneny is set for his debut at home to Burnley on Saturday. With Frances Coquelin injured and Mathieu Flamini struggling to fill the hole in his absence, Arsène Wenger has been crying out for some dynamism at the base of his midfield. Arsenal’s players seem to be impressed with Elneny, Olivier Giroud referring to him as “a complete player”. Quite the statement after a few training sessions, but Elneny will not be afforded much time to settle in with Coquelin expected to make Arsenal’s bench on Saturday – the onus is on the Egyptian to make a good first impression against an inferior (albeit in-form) Burnley side. Elneny’s first task in English football? Get to grips with Joey Barton. MB
  • 3) Kane and Alli need a proper rest with title charge in mind
He will continue to play it down, of course, but Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham are title contenders. Still fighting on three fronts, this is a prime opportunity to give his key players a day off. Colchester are rooted to the bottom of League One and have not won in the league since October. Their Cup run has seen them defeat two teams in lower divisions and Charlton, a team in similar disarray. It should be a straightforward afternoon for Spurs, then. Pochettino has relied upon the same core of players all season and there must be some tired legs there. While Harry Kane and Dele Alli were substitutes against Leicester, they were called upon when the going got tough. It would be good to see Josh Onomah given another chance, Nacer Chadli could do with more minutes and Son Heung-min will look to reaffirm the theory that he can be a more than capable back-up for Kane, who might even have the luxury of a full day off. AS

4) Dropping Fellaini could help Manchester United turn a corner

This season, Manchester United have won 70% (and lost none) of the league games that Marouane Fellaini has missed. They have won only 23.1% of those (and lost 46.2%) that he has, a stat that has seemingly bypassed the club’s analytics department, with the Belgian starting the last nine of United’s 11 matches in all competitions (in which United have won three, lost five). Louis van Gaal suggested on Thursday that his job hinges on his team’s result at Derby County on Friday night and it will be baffling if the Dutchman retains the 28-year-old in his starting XI for such a crucial game, in which the United performance will be scrutinised as much as the result. Perhaps even more bewildering is Paul Clement, Derby’s manager, who told the Guardian this week that Fellaini remains one of Manchester United’s most potent weapons. “United still have match-winning players – Rooney can produce moments of magic. I like Mata – I think he’s a great player. I knew about Herrera from my time in Spain. The young ones [Martial and Depay] are doing it some days but not others. Fellaini’s a bit inconsistent but dangerous.”

5) Portsmouth’s long-suffering fans deserve moment in the sun

The sold-out signs went up at Fratton Park on Monday. It would be easy to rattle off myriad cliches about magic and minnows but even in their darkest hours Pompey’s supporters have stuck around. This will be their third packed house in 11 days and it really is a testament to the supporters that they have stuck with it in such big numbers. After their sharp fall from European football and silverware to midweek trips to Morecambe, it still must feel odd for them to look at Bournemouth as a Premier League club. In 2013 they were playing each other in League One, but now three divisions separate them. They will relish the chance of causing an upset and deserve another moment in the sun.

6) Iheanacho’s striking cup form means City’s key men can sit back

After he provided an immediate impact on Wednesday (and indeed all season),Kevin De Bruyne’s subsequent injury will weigh heavy on the Manchester City squad, and Manuel Pellegrini will be especially wary of further casualties this weekend, especially with so many crucial games in the coming weeks: February includes crunch matches against Leicester and Tottenham in the Premier League, a trip to Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League last-16 and a Capital One Cup final against Liverpool. With that in mind, a trip to Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Saturday increasingly looks like an opportunity to rest City’s two most important players, Sergio Agüero and David Silva, who have struggled with injuries this season. Both will be tired from their key contributions against Everton in theCapital One Cup semi-final, and Pellegrini must also think about City’s trip to Sunderland on Tuesday. If Agüero does get the day off, Kelechi Iheanacho deserves another chance – the Nigerian has scored in all three cup appearances this season, including in City’s FA Cup third-round victory over Norwich.

7) Berahino should be given the chance to silence his doubters

Tony Pulis has promised to take the Cup seriously, naming strong teams in bothgames against Bristol City, but might a glance at the fixture list sway his mindset for the visit of League One Peterborough? West Brom are on a dire run and could still be dragged into a relegation battle. Swansea and Newcastle are up next and good results in both should ease any lingering fears. So why not shuffle the pack against the Posh and strip away the stubbornness by playing Saido Berahino? The striker was desperately off the pace against Aston Villa last weekend when introduced from the bench – Albion could not manage a shot on target against the league’s worst team – and needs games. Only Pulis and the player know the full story but it is blatantly obvious to all that Berahino has bags of talent. It is being wasted on the bench and it is not like those playing instead of him are setting the world on fire. With the club indicating he is likely to stay until the summer, this represents a perfect chance for him to be reintegrated into the team and silence doubters.

8) Appleton can show Blackburn the fruits of his labour at Oxford

The last time Michael Appleton was in the fourth round of the FA Cup he earned his first victory as Blackburn Rovers manager – a 3-0 win away at Derby County. In the fifth round of that 2012-13 season, Appleton masterminded a 1-0 win away at Arsenal. Yet these were rare highlights in Appleton’s 67 days as manager of Rovers, who travel to the 40-year-old’s current club and the lowest team left in the FA Cup, Oxford United, on Saturday. Appleton’s short stint at the Lancashire club ended badly, but his tenure at United has been quietly building into something worth shouting about. With Derek Fazackerley (Rovers’ all-time record appearance holder) by his side the club are in the League Two automatic promotion places and dumped out Swansea City in the third round. Travelling Blackburn fans, who have sold out their allocation at the Kassam Stadium, may give their former manager some stick from the stands but they could well witness another Appleton FA Cup upset

9) Leeds must beware a Bolton side emerging from shambles

When Bolton edged past Eastleigh in their third-round replay, there may have been some within the Leeds United camp who breathed a sigh of relief. With the memory of losing toHiston in 2008-09 lingering in fans’ minds, a short journey across the Pennines to play a club bottom of the Championship seems almost preferable to a round-trip to Hampshire to play a non-league team full of confidence on a bobbly pitch. Leeds’ fans will number 6,850 at the Macron Stadium on Saturday – the biggest away allocation at Bolton’s home ground, and Leeds’ biggest away attendance since 2013. And they will be expecting to win. Yet Bolton are showing signs of life, despite the shambles off the pitch. Last weekend’s 3-1 win over MK Dons proved to many, not least their own supporters, that this is a club capable of staying up. Their captain, Darren Pratley, looked every inch the player that helped fire Swansea City into the Premier League, the Arsenal loanee Wellington Silva’s bag of tricks – including a double Roulette turn – was backed up by an end product and Rob Holding was faultless at the back. With Zach Clough, the club’s home-grown star, returning from injury this week, Bolton have every chance of giving Leeds’ travelling support an unwelcome surprise to reach the fifth round.

10) West Ham will adopt counterattacking approach at Anfield

With the injury to Carl Jenkinson and with Sam Byram cup-tied for West Ham’sFA Cup to Liverpool, James Tomkins is set to assume the right-back role once again, with the game probably coming too early for Joey O’Brien, who is still lacking match fitness since his ankle injury. The 6ft3in Tomkins is a centre-back by trade but was played at full-back in the wins over Liverpool and Bournemouth and in the defeat at Newcastle and while he is defensively sound, does not provide the same threat going forward as Jenkinson or Byram – width and creating opportunities from crossing is key to how West Ham play, especially away from home. Expect West Ham to be more compact at Anfield, and instead use the counterattack through the pace of Michail Antonio, Enner Valencia and Dimitri Payet.

In fewer than two decades, the Spider-Man franchise has already amassed a history of stops and restarts. But the most surprising were the sudden cancellations of Amazing Spider-Man 3 and the spin-offs planned to follow. It was confusing and strange, but there's an interesting story behind why the sequel to a successful movie got tossed in the garbage.

An unlikely duo: Homeland's Nina Hoss plots with art joker Christian Jankowski

Christian Jankowski runs into a Berlin art gallery, hugs Homeland actor Nina Hoss and holds up a map of Venice, which a gallery assistant staples to the wall. Taking off his coat, Jankowski begins putting the finishing touches to his show at Contemporary Fine Arts, a retrospective, – even if he doesn’t like the format. “It’s a statement, almost like the work is done,” he says. “You become fearful just hearing the word.”

Jankowski, the art world’s court jester, caused a stink at the 2011 Frieze art fairwhen he rolled a ₤10m yacht into Regent’s Park, London, and sold it for ₤65m. He consulted psychics to predict his Venice Biennale output and collaborated with Texan televangelists for The Holy Artwork. The Berlin retrospective features works from 1992 to 2015, including more than 40 videos, curated by Hoss herself.
Strolling into one of his installations, a Korean karaoke booth covered in tinfoil, Jankowski and Hoss sit down under a disco ball to talk about how a TV star came to curate her first art exhibition with only a week’s notice. Hoss, who plays the German intelligence officer Astrid in Homeland and has been dubbed “Germany’s best hope for winning an Oscar,” had no idea who Jankowski was when he invited her to collaborate with him.
Yet she gladly filled the role and the gallery jumped for joy. “Without Christmas, none of this would have been possible,” said Jankowski. Over the holidays, Hoss viewed 120 videos by the artist, but still had her doubts. “I thought, ‘What am I doing?’ It was kind of a risk.” She had no choice but to take a practical approach , focusing on the works available. “I didn’t want to think: ‘What does the art world expect?’ I just asked myself: ‘What can I connect with?’

Newly married actress, Tonto Dike has revealed that she had been married longer than people think.
In an interview with Channels TV, the controversial actress said she decided to keep her private life out of the public.
“I have been married for a very long time. Just that I kept the secret to myself, and trying to enjoy married life..yea it just came out like 2-3 days ago.
“One mistake we do is having this very loud announcement on when you have been engaged and everything and its only normal that the media helps you destroy your marriage before you even get into your home. So, privacy is key in my marriage”, she said.
Asked how being married has influenced her person, Tonto said, “It has changed me a lot I could say. It has. It has changed my perspective of life. It has changed the way I think. For once, it has made me a very happy woman, something that I never used to have. Happiness is everything. If you are not happy, you can never be satisfied with what you have or you can never appreciate all the people. I think it has opened my eyes to be able appreciate people despite the fact that they are who they are. I thank God”.

Blackface doesn’t consider me his friend anymore – 2face reacts to alleged song theftNigerian music legend, 2Baba, has reacted to the allegation of song theft leveled against him by Blackface.
It would be recalled that Blackface had slammed his former band mate of the defunct Plantashun Boiz for stealing his ‘Somebody Loves You song’ saying, “All said and done with! You did not ask that you want to record my song?
“I was out there in the wilderness and you never called because you wanted me dead so that my properties be yours.
“Since you decided to hide, you know I still will let you know a piece of my mind, Official 2baba and we’ll meet in court about the publishing,” the ‘Erima’ crooner had earlier threatened.
In his reaction, 2Baba in a chat with Channels TV’s Entertainment News said, ‘It is quite unfortunate.”
When asked about the allegation, he responded with “I do not know where it is coming from but I am trying to think of different reasons.
“My brother, it’s just so unfortunate. At first, I thought his account was hacked or something.
“Apparently, it wasn’t hacked. So we will trash the whole matter, but I got nothing but love and respect for him and it is just so unfortunate that he is coming at me like that.”
When asked if he still considers Blackface as a friend, he said “I mean apparently he doesn’t consider me his friend anymore but I wish him no ill-will.
“Let’s leave it like that for now,” 2Baba said.

Schools on the increase - my write up

What can one say, I remember in my early days, I went to a private school where I paid N60 for fees and we had the best of Education, now its not so, schools are springing up everyday. In Gwarimpa for instance, if I am not mistaken you have a school or a creche on every street.

What is the primary reason or goal for setting up these schools? What are our authorities doing concerning it? Have we stopped to check or ask if there are quality facilities to aid the upbringing of this future generation. Outrageous fees are paid, some collect in dollars. Those who should speak are speechless so long as brown envelopes are passed across.

Do we really care of what this kids will be tomorrow? I know it will  be difficult to go back to those days but measures should be taken to check this.

Let's talk about this and brain storm, we can't tell via this medium the people in authority might look into it.

Mourinho sends a six-page letter to Manchester United

Jose Mourinho is so desperate to become the next Manchester United manager, that he has written a six-page letter to the club, vowing to adhere by their principles.
Mourinho has been out of job, since he was sacked by Roman Abramovich last year and is keen to manage another Premier League club again.
However, there is a considerable percentage of people at United, who are not looking in his direction, because of his controversial personality, his style of football and failure to nurture young talents.
The Red Devils are still struggling for creativity and form, with speculation increasing that current boss, Louis van Gaal, could quit the club at the end of the season.
Mourinho has now attempted to make himself a leading candidate, by writing to the club, in which he detailed how much he wants the job.
He also presented a forensic analysis of the current team and the areas he will improve upon if he is hired. Mourinho went as far as indicating the signings he would make to strengthen the team.
United reportedly snubbed Mourinho in 2013 after Sir Alex Ferguson retired and named David Moyes their new coach.

CHAN 2016: I spent my own $4,000 on Eagles – Oliseh

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has revealed that he had no other choice, but to spend his own money to keep the team together, at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
Nigeria were eliminated from the tournament, after losing their final Group C fixture 1-0 to the Syli Stars of Guinea and Oliseh also blamed lack of financial motivation for his team’s shock exit.
“I spent $4,000 to feed the team because the food in camp was not good enough. I used my personal funds to get the team going for the interest of the nation,” he said in an interview on Brila FM Thursday morning.
“We have family men who have been working hard for 50 days, but who couldn’t afford to buy a anything. It was unbearable.
“And now they are going back home with nothing to give to their families.”

Rivers: Peterside congratulates Wike, promises viable opposition

dakuku wike

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 election, Dakuku Peterside, has expressed readiness to offer support to the Governor Nyesom Wike-led Rivers state.
Peterside made the pledge in his reaction to the Supreme Court verdict that upheld the election of Wike.
The APC candidate in the statement he personally signed said him and his party will not fail to criticize Wike whenever government initiates policies perceived to be against the interest of the people of the state.
On the Supreme court judgment, the statement wondered the yardstick for the Judges resolution.
Below is full statement:

“The learned Justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria yesterday January 27, 2016 upheld the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike won the April 11, 2015Governorship election in Rivers State. The decision was a departure from the earlier findings of the Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal and the Court of Appeal which had both agreed with us that the conduct of the April 11, 2015 elections failed to comply substantially with the requirements of the Electoral Act.
“This decision marks the culmination of a legal battle we instituted not merely because we want power for its sake; but against the virus of electoral violence that often thwarts the will of the people.
“My associates and I are grateful to God for directing us to pursue justice in the courts rather than resort to self-help. We magnify our God for giving us the will and the support of Rivers people to maintain the legal battle.
“As a people who believe in the law, we fought a good fight; we won some of the legal battles along the way. For this we thank our legal team for the diligence with which they conducted the case.
“Nevertheless, the Supreme Court has differed from our position. Still, we thank God for giving us the stoicism to accept the verdict. Indeed, our God deserves praise for reminding us that as His children we should respect and honour even our earthly authorities. It is a further reminder that His will is best in all things for His glory and the greater good of humanity.
“We thank Nigerians, especially Rivers people who have stood by us during this legal odyssey spanning approximately 10 months. We urge all our supporters to take a cue from us in accepting this verdict, without more. We invoke in you the spirit of stoicism and compassion. Even if you are taunted by people who do not understand the ways of God, keep calm and be motivated by the greater good in all your actions.
“Our decision to serve Rivers State was borne out of a passion to uplift our people; to clothe them with dignity on the twin planks of social and economic prosperity. We anchored this promise on the platform of unity. Consequently, we never ceased to remind ourselves that we are GREATER TOGETHER. A Supreme Court verdict that goes against our prayer is a veritable opportunity to demonstrate how dearly we hold the greater together creed.
“Consequently, we shall do our best to work for the peace and development of Rivers State and all who reside in it. We shall creatively offer our help to Governor Nyesom Wike. We will provide a virile opposition, serving as a mirror for the conscience of government, in the interest of Rivers people. When encouragement is needed towards a just and proper course of dealings, we will offer our commendation to the government.
“Conversely, we will constructively express objection to policies and actions we consider inimical to the overall interest of Rivers people. It is our hope that Governor Wike and his team will appreciate the suggestions and proposals that would be made in the interest of Rivers people. If we sometimes sound strident, he should pay heed to the message of passionate and zealous Rivers people rather than dismiss the messenger.
“Although we have accepted the Supreme Court verdict, it would be remiss of me not to point out that this is also an opportunity for our people to engage in deep introspection on the electoral process.
“Beyond party affiliation, must we continue to allow the electoral process to be subject to the whims and caprices of anti-democratic elements, especially those who deploy personal militia to molest and even kill voters; those who hold the electoral umpire captive or compromised; and thus generally prevent electoral outcomes reflective of the will of the voters, as envisaged by law? It is understandable that an attitude of cynical expediency in some politicians may inevitably conclude that “the end justifies the means”.
“However, those who are governed by such a cynical mentality need to be reminded that a huge moral burden would perpetually sour such temporary “victories”. Like the myth of Sisyphus, it is surely a backward slide in our political evolution. Let us think deeply please.
“Finally, I thank everyone who has supported us during this long and arduous journey in the political evolution of Rivers State. May God satisfy you with blessings from the depth of His unfathomable love, so that you will eternally remain true to all that is noble and just. Remember, we are ultimately greater together!”

I asked Mourinho to change my position – Hazard

Chelsea midfielder, Eden Hazard, has revealed that he spoke with manager Jose Mourinho over his loss of form and asked to be moved into a central position.
The 24-year-old has failed to replicate last year’s form, which saw him named PFA Player of the Year, after helping the Blues clinch the Premier League title.
Hazard says a change of his role could be needed to get the best out of him.
“We spoke together before the Stoke game,” he said.
“I said to him: ‘Maybe we have to try something, to change something. Maybe I have to play a No.10 because we have to try.’
“We did and I played a very good game in the [League] Cup in Stoke. And, [against Norwich], it was the same.
“I tried to play my own game. I didn’t start the season well. I know that. I gave everything in training and on the pitch when I played. Now I hope I can get a lot more form and try to help the team win games.”
The Belgian also denied reports that he was keen on a move to Real Madrid, because he has fallen out with Mourinho.
“I don’t have a problem with Mourinho,” he added.
“I’ve heard a lot of things about this, but no. Everything is good with him. He is the best manager.
“He is the best manager for Chelsea, and we hope we can win a lot of trophies together. Maybe not this season because it will be difficult, but next season and on.”

Ex-international, Austin “Jay Jay’’ Okocha, says the Super Eagles’ performance at the ongoing Championship of African Nations (CHAN) is not enough yardstick for measuring Sunday Oliseh’s worth.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the home-based eagles crashed out of the championship in Rwanda on Tuesday, after finishing third in Group C after a lone goal defeat by Guinea in last group match.
Okocha, a former Super Eagles’ Captain, told NAN on Wednesday that Oliseh needed more time to build a formidable Super Eagles squad.
“For Sunday Oliseh, he is my friend, he is my colleague; I think he has got all it takes to get us back on track.
“We don’t need to use the CHAN to judge him, we just need to encourage him, support him and let him do his thing.
“Hopefully, he is the right person to take us to where we want to be.’’
According to him, Oliseh can still qualify the country for the 2017 Africa Nations Cup and the 2018 World Cup billed for Gabon and Russia respectively.
“The way forward is to accept our fate; we have to accept first of all that we are no longer who we used to be.
“We have to humble ourselves and realise that we are starting afresh and once we accept our fate at the moment, I think we will qualify.’’
He noted that the country’s latest position on FIFA ranking which placed Nigeria 66th in the world and 14th in Africa, was a big challenge to the country’s football managers. (NAN).

The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Idiat Adebule, on Thursday said that over 7,000 private schools in the state were not registered with the ministry of education and as such they were operating illegally.
Adebule spoke at the Stakeholders’ Meeting with Proprietors and Owners of Private Schools organised by the Office of Education Quality Assurance of the Lagos State Ministry of Education.
She decried the high rate of illegal operation of private schools in the state.
“Statistics show that we have over 11, 000 private schools in the state, but only 4, 000 are registered with the ministry of education, meaning that many are operating illegally.
“Many private schools do not employ qualified teachers and school administrators and at the end, students’ outcome and performances will be negatively affected.
“Right now, we are dealing with the cases of 25 schools sanctioned by WAEC for malpractices. This is not good at all as it affects the state in terms of national rating.
“I urge school owners to stop cutting corners for the sake of making money and protect the integrity of the education sector, ” she said.

Adebule said the government would sanction and shut down any private school that did not comply with laws and regulation of the state’s education sector.
The deputy governor said that the government would commence census of private schools in the state and intensify regulation to ensure that required standards were upheld.
She also promised to meet with the tax authority to review levies, dues and taxes, to make operations easier for proprietors.
“We recognise your role in the sector, and as a government, we will ensure that you get all the support, and we are ready to partner with you to move the sector forward, ” she said.
Earlier, some of the school owners lamented the problems of multiple taxation and indiscriminate increment of the Land Use Charge, annual dues, business premises permit, director’s permit and Radio/TV permit.
They also called for the establishment of Education Bank in the state where interest rate would be less than 10 per cent or single digit as obtained in the agricultural sector.
According to them, this will help in tackling the problem of funds in school operation.
