Nigerians on Twitter reacted to the article published on the international news channel, Al Jazeera, about the Nigerian woman who found her way out of prostitution.
The article was written to celebrate a Sandra Aguebor, who is Nigeria’s first lady mechanic.
Meanwhile, many Nigerians didn’t like the story title, describing it as inappropriate. They said the headline is kind of portraying all Nigerian women as prostitutes.

If it were a white lady who became a mechanic after being transformed, she would have celebrated, but because she is black, she has a name tag. Is that the only crime or addiction people are saved from?
This issue shouldn't be taken lightly, they either change the title or they are sued. At least she chose to have a U-turn in life, right now she has become a heroine. We all have in us ability to grow and have a right to our decisions.
We will protect our own, and speak with one voice.
