Barcelona legend Carles Puyol has caused something of a stir among the club's fans after dropping a surprise hint this week that they may not have seen the last of him on a football pitch.
The 38-year-old alluded to a possible return in an online Q&A on the Champions League Facebook page, but admitted that he was only looking at the possibility of playing some friendly games as things stand, rather than making a return to competitive action.
Barcelona's defence has been called into question a few times during the current season, with the reigning Spanish champions failing to keep a clean sheet in their last five games in all competitions - including defeats at the hands of Real Madrid and Real Sociedad and a 2-2 draw with Villarreal.
