I won’t return to Super Eagles – Emenike

Emenike 1

Former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike, has insisted that he is done with the national team and will not make a return under Samson Siasia.
The player, who is currently on loan at West Ham in England, retired from international football last year, while Sunday Oliseh was still the handler of the Eagles.
“I’m done with the Super Eagles, and I am making it clear again that I am not going back.
“It’s my decision and I am not going to reverse it, I am sorry if I have offended anybody regarding this but no Eagles return for me,” he said, according to SportingLife.
“Like I said, I didn’t leave because of anybody, it was a personal decision. Oliseh didn’t force me out of the Super Eagles as it was reported, I don’t need anybody to speak with me before I take a decision. It was my decision and I won’t reverse it.”
Emenike made his debut five years ago for Nigeria and was top scorer at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, which the Eagles won.

Nigerians including Sen. So this so called Yinusa cant get another girl that is of marriageable age. Let me see how those mentioned above will react to this.

How I served Rev. King stark naked, maid

Miss Susan Chizoba, a former maid of the general overseer of the Christ Praying Assembly (CPA), Rev. Emeka King, has revealed how she served the pastor as a maid for seven years, stark naked.

Explaining how her parents took her to Reverend King’s home in 2000 believing it to be a Christian home, Miss Chizoba said: “When I came to live with the accused (Rev. King), he told me that I would be his permanent maid and that I would agree not to marry. He said anytime I wanted to serve him I must be stark naked which I did. No pant, no bra, I would be completely nude before him and I did this not once, not twice, but for several years.

He also ordered me not to tell any member of my family where I was living. He gave me a ring which I always put on to indicate that I am his permanent maid and all this he made me to put into writing. I am a member of the Lord’s army and we bully people, putting fear into them and molesting them. “Rev. King is a very violent person, he would beat us mercilessly and as a result we always have wounds on our bodies. He called himself god, the owner of the universe and could do anything.

We know this is not so but out of fear we could not challenge him. On the 22nd July 2006 the day of the fire incident, a sister named Kelechi came to call me from the boys quarter of the Rev. King’s house where we were staying that the accused wanted to see me.

“When I got to him he did not even allow me to kneel down as we usually did when talking to him before he started beating me with stick, rod and anything he could find. I started crying, shouting and begging him not to kill me. It was then I noticed others who were there; Cosy, Chiejile, Jessica, Ann, Vivian and Kelechi. He accused me that I lied to him that Chiejile did not sleep with me whereas Chiejile had confessed to him that he slept with me. But Chiejile never did he only said that so that the accused (Rev. King) will not kill him. “He said he would kill all of us. He then asked Kelechi to go and bring fuel and matches but when she brought it he told her that the petrol was not enough and that she should go and bring more which was brought in a very large plastic container. He then marched us out of the room saying he did not want to burn his rug and chair. While we were outside his room but within the church compound Kelechi poured petrol on us on his orders and he struck the first match which did not catch fire. “When he struck the second match we were all engulfed in fire but I did not know how I managed to escape from there and I ran back to our apartment. When I noticed that Ann had been taken to the hospital, I ran out in my night gown and I never came back to the church. I came out of the place by the grace of God, I am free now, I am no longer under the spell of the accused person,” Miss Chizoba said. Miss Chizoba said this in 2006 while testifying against the controversially violent pastor before an Ikeja high court. At the time Rev. King was on trial for the murder of one of his members, Miss Ann Uzor and attempting to murder five others by pouring petrol on them and setting them ablaze. Rev. Emeka Ezeugo King had his death sentence upheld by the Supreme Court on Friday, February 26, 2016.

Nigeria reappoint Samson Siasia as coach after Sunday Oliseh's resignation

Samson Siasia
Samson Siasia will take charge of Nigeria's upcoming Nations Cup qualifiers

Nigeria have reappointed Samson Siasia as coach following the resignation of Sunday Oliseh earlier on Friday.
The Nigeria Football Federation have ensured a coach is in place for March's Nations Cup qualifiers against Egypt.
Oliseh quit after only eight months, accusing the NFF of "contractual violations" and owing salaries.
The NFF responded in a statement, saying Oliseh was this week "paid three months' salary and a half-year rent" but admitted he is still owed a bonus.
And the governing body quickly moved on from Oliseh's reign by handing Siasia a second spell in charge of the Super Eagles.
He was previously coach between December 2010 and October 2011, before his contract was terminated following the team's failure to qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
This time he will work alongside Salisu Yusuf, former Nigeria Under-17 player Emmanuel Amuneke and Alloy Agu.
The NFF said: "The combination was recommended by the NFF Technical and Development Committee following Sunday Oliseh's resignation on Twitter in the early hours of Friday."
Amuneke coached the Nigeria U-17s to a fifth World Cup title in Chile last year, while Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu were part of the coaching team led by Oliseh.
The first task for Siasia, who is in charge of the national U-23 side, is to prepare the team for the Nations Cup qualifiers against Group G leaders Egypt at home on 25 March and the return match two days later.

Gianni Infantino Is Elected FIFA President

Mr. Infantino defeated three other candidates with 155 votes in an election that many soccer officials hope will be a new beginning for the embattled soccer body.

He will serve until the next FIFA election in 2019. He was born March 23, 1970 in Brig, Switzerland.

Infantino becomes the ninth FIFA president. Infantino has served as the General secretary of European governing body UEFA since 2009.
Infantino was one of two Europeans vying for the FIFA presidency along with Jerome Champagne of France. Backed by support from South America, Europe, and Canada, the Swiss was one of the co-favourites to win the election.
He succeeds Sepp Blatter, who was banned from all soccer activity for six years after a suspicious payment made to UEFA President Michel Platini, who was handed a similar suspension.
What is his manifesto as FIFA president?

One of the biggest changes under Infantino will be a regional World Cup hosted by various countries. He would also seek to expand the tournament from 32 to 40 teams.

The new president is also offering FIFA members a bigger share of the organization’s $1.5-billion cash reserves.
Around $5 million will be awarded to each nation to invest in projects and to pay off expenses. An additional $40 million will be handed out to the six confederations for the same purpose. The money will be paid within a four-year cycle.
Who was running against him?

Sheikh Salman of Bahrain, Prince Ali bin Al Hussein of Jordan, Jerome Champagne of France and Tokyo Sexwale of South Africa.

Infantino was co-favourites with Salman to become the next president of FIFA.

Member Associations are requested to cast their vote in alphabetical order. All of the candidate have the right to proceed to the second ballot.

If no candidate receives 2/3 of the votes.

The FIFA Presidential election is overseen by a public notary, scrutineers approved by the extraordinary FIFA congress and the ADHOC Electoral committee.

Tokyo Sexwale of South Africa has decided to drop out of the elections for FIFA President. 4 candidates remain.

Earlier in the day the member association approved the FIFA reforms and all statutory changes required to implement them.

179 members voted in favour of the reforms, 22 members voted against.

The new FIFA statutes, which includes the reforms, will come into force 60 days after this extraordinary FIFA congress.

BREAKING NEWS: FIRE GULPS POPULAR MILLENIUM BUILDERS' BUILDING OPPOSITE NNPC TOWERS

Strange Fire was noticed as it grew worse engulfing popular millenium builder's building  opposite NNPC Towers. The building is said to be allegedly owned by former Governor of Kogi State,  Late Abubakar Audu. Asilding  we speak the fire has spread across the entire building.

The building underwent serious renovations last year and it came out to be a beautiful edifice.

One of the reasons why the fire grew was because of the plastic materials used round the building, it acted as a catalyst for the fire to burn heavily.

Below are pictures:

The fire service arrived late and on trying to quench the fire, the water was not enough. There were a total of 4 trucks that came to the fire site, the last truck had a composition of water and chemical to stop the fire.

Other sources are saying the fire is at Institute of Human Virology which is false, the fire is at Millenium  Builders' Building, from the pictures IHV is on the left, there is even a path separating the two buildings. So sources should take note.

NFF tried to hire Renard behind my back – Oliseh opens up on resignation

oliseh crew

Sunday Oliseh has claimed that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), tried to hire Herve Renard behind his back.
The former national team captain, resigned as coach of the Super Eagles on Friday morning and cited unpaid salaries, lack of cooperation, among other factors as reasons for his decision to quit.
He also accused the NFF of sabotaging his efforts and trying to bring in another coach to replace him, after the home-based Eagles crashed out of the African Nations Championship in the first round.
“They had their motives and what I did was in the best interest of the country,”
“While I was coach of the team they tried to hire Renard who turned them down citing three major reasons.
“When I sought their aid to effectively carry out my duties I was ignored and instead of the helping me getting the players to give their best and placing them in a very good conditions at an advantages to the team play, they had plans to derail the progress of the team’s chances.
“The most important objective is for the Super Eagles Of Nigeria to qualify to the next AFCON and the World Cup 2018.”

Soccer-No Sunday best for Nigeria after Oliseh quits as coach

Personally I'm so pained because our football is in a deteriorating state. Just as we thought Sunday Oliseh was here to fix the issue, he has resigned. We really need to know what is really going on in the glass house. Why is there no sanity there? With all the technocrats we have, no one can put that house in order. We are preparing to go for Nations Cup but as at today we don't have a coach. This days we no longer get thrilled or interested when Nigeria is playing. What was done in the past that is not done now? With the bunch of talents we have, our football administration is swindling in the face of so much resources. A coach assumes his position but not allowed to work, distractions every where. Oliseh accused Nigeria of contract violations and failing to pay his wages as he resigned as national team coach on Friday, ending a brief but unhappy tenure at the helm of the side.
BREAKING: Sunday Oliseh Resigns As Head Coach Of Super Eagles
We got this from his twitter page on Friday "Due to contract violations, lack of support, unpaid wages, benefits to my players, assistant coaches and myself, I resign as Super Eagles chief coach," ."I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having had the honour to play, captain and coach this great nation of ours, Nigeria," added the former World Cup star, who had been in the job since mid-July.
There was no immediate reaction from the Nigerian Football Federation, whose leaders are in Zurich for Friday's FIFA Congress.
Oliseh, who had no previous coaching experience, had helped Nigeria advance to the next phase of World Cup qualification, albeit by an unconvincing aggregate triumph over tiny Swaziland in November.
However, he fared less favourably when in charge of the Nigeria team which performed poorly at last month's African Nations Championship in Rwanda, a tournament for quasi-national sides made up only of home-based players.
The resignation comes less than a month before Nigeria meet Egypt twice in the space of five days in key qualifiers for the 2017 African Nations Cup finals.
The 41-year-old Oliseh, a former midfielder who played at Ajax, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus, featured for the national side between 1993 and 2002.
He won the Nations Cup as a player in 1994 and Olympic gold in Atlanta in 1996 and played at two World Cups.
He had a fiery reputation as a player, missing the 2002 World Cup for disciplinary reasons and was later sacked by Dortmund for allegedly punching a team mate Vahid Hashemian during a loan spell at VfL Bochum. (Reporting by Mark Gleeson in Cape Town; Editing by John O'Brien)

Latest: Naira now 290/Dollar on parallel market

Speculators disappointed as naira strengthens against dollar for the third consecutive day – IMF persuades President Buhari to remove foreign exchange ban Reports from the Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Nigeria have it that the Nigerian currency is presently selling at N290/dollar.

Reliable sources confirmed that many BDC operators stormed banks in search of Dollar after yesterday’s appreciation of the Naira, a situation which has suddenly made it scarce. As at this morning, the Dollar had risen to about 290 in exchange rate to the Naira as speculators are still adamant that the three-day consecutive rise may not be sustained by the Nigerian government.

NYSC to re-open orientation camps in Adamawa, Borno, Yobe, says DG

NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps will re-open orientation camps in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states before the end of 2016, the Director-General (DG), Johnson Olawumi, has said.
Mr. Olawumi, a Brigadier General, on Thursday in Katsina that the decision followed the successes recorded in the fight against insurgency in the north eastern part of the country.
‘’Since the insurgency has been reduced drastically, we are resuming orientation in Gombe state beginning with this batch ‘A’ of 2016.
‘’Adamawa state will resume with the next batch, while Borno and Yobe orientation camps will be re-opened before the end of the year,’’ he said.
Mr. Olawumi said the states had some of the best facilities for orientation in the country, but had to be closed down due to insecurity.
He advised corps members to discharge their duties at their places of primary assignment diligently.
The DG called on state governments to ensure prompt payment of allowances to corps members to boost their morale for effective service delivery. (NAN).

‘My Golden Shoe Can Buy Linda Ikeji’s Hermes Bag’ – Mayor Rotimi Odunayo (Photos)

UK based celebrity photographer and CEO of Events Reloaded Media, Mayor Rotimi Odunayo made this statement over the fallout from the controversial Hermes bag drama involving blogger Linda Ikeji.
In a post on his website, Rotimi said: ”My gold shoe is worth her bag and she can google it on the internet and see the price and the shop I bought it from  the UK.
Linda should focus more on helping and supporting Nigerians with her wealth of experience in the industry not showing off with things of life.

”It is high time Linda keeps quiet and focus on her blogging and think of ways to expand in business and support those that needs to be helped in the society. As per the fight with Wizkid? I believe they can settle it in the closet rather than public.”
