The 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, just concluded a five-day training over the weekend for security agencies within its area of operation on emerging threats by insurgents.
The training, which ended weekend with the title: “Operation Planning Cadre 2016 for Officers and other Security Agencies within the Divisions Area of Operational Responsibility,” was to enhance the knowledge of participants on contemporary realities in planning for Military Operations.
Inaugurating the cadre at the Dragon Officers’ Mess Abakpa Military Cantonment in Enugu, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru stated that the exercise was in line with the Chief of Army Staff’s vision for the Nigerian Army which seeks “to have a professionally responsive Nigerian Army in the discharge of its constitutional roles”.
He stressed that it was also in accordance with Army Headquarters’ Training Directives for 2016/2017 Training Circle.
