Ugbokolo shut down as BenPoly students protest 100 per cent increment in tuition fee

Ugbokolo in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State is literally on fire, following an ongoing protest by Students of the Benue State Polytechnic.

The students have remained on the street since Monday morning to protest the abnormal increment of their school fees.

We gathered that Governor Samuel Ortom-led government recently increased their school fees by hundred percent to the chagrin of the students who have stated that the increment was politically motivated and that the aim was to ”de-literate’ the Idoma Nation.
